Yes, I would ask the Warden to make me a pretty, because then you wouldn't have to go through all the trouble of going to the Dorm, hospital, or Special Circumstances.

Confessions
I think Tally won't regret telling the truth. David won't change his mind about her, of anything he will just like her more for fixing her mistake.

Hippocratic Oath
Maddy shouldn't of forced Shay to take the cure. If she did then she would be like Dr. Cable to Az. Az didn't have a choice, but Shay should.

Night Alone
If I was Shay I would get the cure. Sure there is a small chance that you could end up like a veggie, but if you didn't then you could be pretty and not have the lesions.

Respond to the quote
"Tally thought of the lesions on Shay's brain, the tiny cancers or wounds or whatever they are that she didn't even know she had. They were in there somewhere changing her friend's thoughts, warping her feelings, gnawing at the roots of who she was."
This quote means to me that, Tally is worried about Shay. She can't stop wondering what will happen to her, and how it will affect her.

Rescue
Chronological order of important events
- Tally finds Shay a pretty and they talk
- David breaks out the other smokies
- They grab, unconscious Dr. Cable, and escape using her for the eye-reader.
- They escaped using hover-boards.
The "Kicker" at the end of the chapter is that Az is dead.

Inside
" Radiology, Neurology, Magnetic Imaging," she read softly. "Operation Theater Two".
This quote has a deeper meaning, then it is a play on words. Radiology is like X=rays, Neurology is the study of the brains, and Magnetic Imaging is like MRIs.
At the end of the chapter, when Tally finds Shay, she describes Shay as "She was tall and elegant, every feature perfection." "Her eyes-deep and soulful, flecked with copper and gold- widened with a troubled look." (pg 338)

Over the Edge
If I could post an important message it would be "You only live once, so make it count". I would say this because, some people live their life, but don't live it to its fullest potential.

Accomplices
Tally has changed in many ways. She has become more responsible and grown-up. The reasons behind this is how her life has changed. One minute she was getting everything she wanted through a hole in her bedroom, and the next she had to work for everything.

Familiar Sights
Yes, I think Tally's plan will work. Her and David will make it to Special Circumstances, and save the Smokies. Tally feels tons of guilt on her shoulders, because she is the reason that the Smoke is gone and the Smokies were captured. Her feelings are valid, because she should be doing everything that she can to help save her friends that she betrayed.

Blog Post 42
The weakness of our society is conflict and disorder. We have many countries where there is little or no way to communicate. The weakness of their society is the government not wanting the people to communicate. They want the people to believe whatever they tell them, no matter how crazy or uncalled for.

Hurricane Katrina on August 28, 2005, near its peak intensity.
This image was created by NASA and taken from a NASA website or publication.
Hurricane Katrina turned slightly eastward before slamming into shore redirecting the storm's most potent winds and rain away from the vulnerable, low lying New Orleans area. Katrina weakened slightly overnight to a Category 4 storm and her eastward movement put the western eyewall - the weaker side of the strongest winds - over New Orleans. This doesn't mean New Orleans has been spared her wrath completely, the city is still getting hit with 145 mph winds today and the possibility of a 20 foot storm surge.Katrina, which cut across Florida last week leaving nine dead and massive damage, had intensified into a Category 5 storm over the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, reaching top winds of 175 mph before weakening as it neared the coast.A hurricane warning is in effect for the north-central Gulf Coast from Morgan City, La., to the Alabama-Florida line. Tornado warnings were posted for Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. \

The irony in Tally's victory over Dr. Cable is, she brought Dr. Cable. She helped her find the Smoke, which was lost in the process. Tally is having a victory over excaping the Special's when she brought them.

"Amazing"
Yes, David is right. Tally is amazing for the first in her life she is able to have independent thoughts and learning to make decisions based on experiences instead of being told what to do to stay within the acceptable mainstream. Yes, I do think she should feel guilt b/c her purpose in going to the Smoke was to betray a friend, whom did not make it out as Tally did.
"Run"
The voice in dark is a friend because up to this point Tally hasn't come across anyone who is willing to help her make decision without a selfish motive.

"In Case of Damage"
Self preservation to me means looking after yourself first and making sure that your life isn't sacrificed but if we all thought this way then we would not be a free nation and there would be a lot of fighting and conflict. I think its more important to take care of each other hence you should always be truthful.

"The Rabbit Pen"
I think for the most Tally is conflicted. One one hand she loves David and is being to find out there is more to the operation than she initially thought. Although, the idea of staying within safe, traditional roles does have its draw for Tally. Her friends and family are all part of mainstream society.

"Invasion"
I think this isn't the climax because although there is a lot of action; resolution of the problem doesn't follow. Things do not get easier for Tally after this point of the book.

"What you do, the way you think, makes you beautiful."
Ms. Shirley is beautiful to me. She has survived cancer 3 times and is a beautiful person inside and out. She was there for my surgery and comes with my mom and I to all my appointments.
In school, I have a friend who inspires me as she never sees any challenge she can't overcome despite her physical limitations.

"Becoming pretty doesn't just change the way you look...it changes the way you think"
This quote to me means that you are becoming some one else's idea of pretty and they are manipulating your ideas, hopes and dreams so that you conform to what the status quo for life should be.
